Canadian sheeples to get relief from long gun registration?

Be still my heart! Canada has introduced a bill to end its long gun registry, citing ineffectiveness against crime and high costs. It’s a wonderful idea, but they’re bucking the tide:

A 2001 Gallup poll found that 63 per cent of Canadians believe gun ownership should be made illegal for ordinary citizens, while 61 per cent favoured stricter laws governing the sale of firearms.
